My Thoughts

Agatha Christie is one of my favorite authors. I enjoy how the mysteries unravel without the help of today's modern forensics. When it comes to small screen adaptions of these classic novels, Acorn Media always does a stellar job.  This holiday season, they have released a few DVD sets perfect for any hardcore fan. THE BEST OF AGATHA CHRISTIE, Volume 1 includes three exciting fan favorites.

And Then There Was None - Set right before WWII, this film takes place on a deserted island. Ten strangers are invited. Before the night is over, one is dead and the rest are suspects.

Five Little Pigs - Caroline was executed for killing her husband, but her daughter Lucy doesn't believe she did it. Years later, Lucy turns to Poirot to solve the cold case and clear her mother's name.

Death on The Nile - Poirot is trying to enjoy a cruise, but he intervenes when an angry ex tries to make trouble for a pair of newlyweds. Even with his help, someone still turns up dead.
If you know someone who loves Agatha Christie this DVD set would make a great gift. You can find it online at Acorn media for only $39.99. It's also available on Amazon.
