Become a Visionary with the Aroma Box

Aroma Box is a fun subscription service that sends you a variety of unique essential oils each month. Each box includes three pure essentials oils and one mixed blend in a roll-on container. All of the oils in the box will have a specific theme and work well together or on their own.  Each bottle is also a full size container. No puny sample sizes like some other boxes! This month's theme is "The Visionary", and it's all about help you stay focused and create new things.  Each of these oils will help you overcome a challenge in your life, whether it's physical, emotional, or spiritual. Here is a little about each of the oils in this box and the benefits they offer.

Copaiba - This oil has a nice woodsy scent.  It also has the ability to produce happy hormones. You need to be happy to be inspired, which is why this oil is part of this month's collection.

Lavadin Grosso - This oil is similar to lavender, but smells a little stronger. It can help with respiratory issues, and also helps to calm your mind, which leaves you open to inspiration.

Star Anise- This is one of my favorite herbs for spell bags, but I've never had it oil form. It's great to have around during cold and flu season because it aids respiratory conditions. It also helps to reduce stress and anxiety which can block your visions.

The Visionary - This roll-on blend will help calm an overactive mind so inspiration can flow freely. It helps you to stay focused so the ideas keep flowing. I've used it this week while working on my college essays, and it was much easier to focus!

This was another amazing box filled with essentials oils everyone should have to their medicine cabinet, especially if you are facing a challenge or just want to clear you aura.   Each one of the varieties in this package will be getting plenty of use. I also love how Herb Stop includes so many great tips on how to use the oils and even recipes. This month, they give you an awesome recipe for Be the Change Spray. Plus, the oils are always high quality, and never diluted like some other brands I've purchased online. I say this every month, but The Aroma Box is  one of my favorite boxes and  definitely worth the price of the subscription.  Herb Stop will definitely be my go-to company whenever any of my oils need to be replenished.

March National Kidney Disease Prevention Month/April Donate Life Month

One in three Americans are at risk for chronic kidney disease.  Kidney disease causes more deaths than breast cancer or prostate cancer and is the 9th leading cause of death in the U.S. It is estimated that 30 million people in the U.S. are affected but 90% of those with kidney disease don’t even know they have it!.
While the stats are super compelling, it's also relevant to *MARCH* National Kidney Disease Prevention Month and *APRIL* National Donate Life Month.

The Mendez National Institute of Transplantation Foundation (MNITF) is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 1994 that has created the “Get the Facts! Get Checked! Get Healthy!” PSA which delivers a strong call-to-action about kidney disease prevention, the need for organ donation, and learning more about research, education and innovation at FixingPaco.org

"Dinosaur Train: Big Pond Adventures" DVD on February 13

Today, PBS Distribution announced the upcoming release of the new DVD “BIG POND ADVENTURES”featuring eight episodes from PBS KIDS’ popular DINOSAUR TRAIN series from The Jim Henson Company. Dive into action-packed adventures at the Big Pond with the Pteranodon family!  Watch Buddy and Tiny work together to catch fish, find out what happens when Mr. Pteranodon and Larry accidently miss the last train home, and see Buddy and Don discover fossilized tracks that are millions of years old. The kids also help singer Crystal organize a HUGE benefit concert to make everyone aware that the Big Pond is being recklessly overfished and share what everyone can do to help!
BIG POND ADVENTURES” ($12.99 SRP) will be available on DVD February 13, 2018 and has a run time of approximately 90 minutes. Episodes of Dinosaur Train are also available for digital download.
The five-time Emmy-nominated DINOSAUR TRAIN, created by Craig Bartlett (“Hey Arnold!”), is set in a whimsically realistic, prehistoric world of jungles, swamps, active volcanoes and oceans. Each day, DINOSAUR TRAIN helps kids ages 3 to 6 apply scientific thinking as they discover new types of dinosaur species, compare and contrast dinosaurs to today’s creatures and embrace the living sciences of paleontology and natural science. DINOSAUR TRAIN airs weekdays on PBS KIDS (check local listings).

My Thoughts

My kids have always loved Dinosaur Train. Buddy and the Pteranodon family go off on a variety of exciting adventures on the Dinosaur Train. Along the way, they meet lots of other friends and always discover new things. This DVD includes eight exciting episodes that focus on adventures in the water.

Tiny Loves Fish
Buddy the Tracker
Family Scavenger Hunt
Dry Times at Pteranodon Terrace
Train, Submarines, and Zeppelins Part 1
Train, Submarines, and Zeppelins Part 2
Crystal & King's Benefit Concert Part 1
Crystal & King's Benefit Concert Part 2

My children just loved the selection on this DVD.  This is a great series and this DVD is a great addition to our collection. It has tons of great scenes and we can watch it over and over again.   In addition to lots of action, kids always learn some dinosaur facts in every episode.

Book Blast - Death of a Sculptor in Hue, Shape and Color

Death of a Sculptor in Hue, Shape and Color Color coded love stories and revealing female anatomies lead to the murder of world renowned sculptor, Bruce Jones. In life, the artist loved women, almost as much as women loved him. Adored for his art and colorful personality, Bruce is mourned by the world at large. The tale is launched with the multifaceted perspectives of four ex-wives, the current wife, and his new love interest and their children. Mary , Bruce’s wealthy first love, is always in perfect pink; the color of love. Mother of Clair the famous actress and Aaron the corporate lawyer. Leslie The Second’s color is yellow for her sunny nature as much as for her fears and insecurities. Her only son Bobby is vulnerable and lost. Mourning his father’s death, he finds himself. Petra The Third, is outstanding in orange, representing not only her native Holland but also her love of the fruit. Cherished her freedom and had no children of her own. Toni The Fourth is a vibrant passionate Italian red and part of the eventual glue that creates and solidifies this dysfunctional Jones family. Her teenage daughters Tina and Isa are as different as night and day. Brooke The Fifth a gold-digger. Green, her color, reflects the color of money and envy. Her young son’s Kyle and Caleb are too young to understand why their world has been turned upside-down. Mara, as blue as the ocean was the last woman to steal Bruce’s heart. Mother to newborn Baby Peter is the unexpected gift and surprise. Bruce Jones’ eight children speak out, too. They are as distinctive as the women he loved, their mothers. Loose ends are tied up by the insights of Sylvia, Aaron’s wife and a trusted keeper of secrets; Scott, the private investigator and family friend; Nona, the quintessential grandmother everyone loves but to whom few are truly related; and Detective Jim Miller who will not rest until he discovers Bruce Jones’ murderer.

Catalina has lived in various countries and is fluent in four languages; Spanish, English, French and Swedish. Her first book The Bridge of Deaths revolves around her maternal grandfather's death in 1939. A true-life pre-WWII event. It has over 200 footnotes with the resources of her extensive search through Archival materials as well as the use of psychometry and past life regressions. It is more fact than fiction. The revised edition of The Bridge of Deaths; A love Story and a Mystery focuses on the storyline as opposed to fact, but all footnotes and facts are available through the website for any curious minds. www.thebridgeofdeaths.com Defined by Others taps into the dark quirky side found even in the best of people. With the 2012 American elections as a backdrop and the fearless reassurance that the world might end on December 12, 2012, as predicted by the Mayan Calendar. Death of a Sculptor; in Hue, Shape, and Color is a novella written in sixteen different voices. It is a murder mystery. She is currently working on a sequel; Bruce (title subject to change). M.C.V.
